Lexicon is designed to respect your privacy. We collect no personal information and the app functions entirely on your device. This policy explains what data Lexicon accesses and how it is used.

Data We Do Not Collect

Lexicon does not collect, store, transmit, or share any of the following:

On-Device Processing

All dictionary lookups, search history, favorites, and settings are stored locally on your device using standard iOS data storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to Mella Co.

Voice Search

When you use voice search, Lexicon uses Apple's Speech Recognition framework. Audio is processed by Apple's servers in accordance with Apple's own privacy policy. Lexicon does not record, store, or transmit your voice data.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Mella Co does not receive or store any payment information.

Third-Party Services

Lexicon does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. There are no ads of any kind in the app.

Children's Privacy

Lexicon does not knowingly collect any data from users of any age. The app contains no data collection mechanisms.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes in a material way, the updated policy will be posted here with a revised effective date. We do not anticipate changes, as our data practice is simply: collect nothing.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Open Lexicon and navigate to the paywall screen. Tap "Restore Purchase" at the bottom. Your one-time purchase is tied to your Apple ID and will be restored automatically at no charge.
Does Lexicon work offline?
Yes. The core dictionary database is bundled with the app and works completely offline. Voice search requires an internet connection for Apple's speech recognition, but all other features are fully offline.
How do I cancel the free trial?
Lexicon's trial is not a subscription — there's nothing to cancel. After 7 days, you'll be prompted to purchase Lexicon for $9.99 once. If you choose not to, no charge occurs.
What data does Lexicon collect?
None. Lexicon collects no personal data whatsoever. Your search history and favorites are stored only on your device. There are no analytics, no tracking, and no ads.
Can I request a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID to request a refund. You can also email us at [email protected] and we'll do what we can to help.
